Marjorie Kinney works with small to large corporations who conduct their meetings at Southern California hotels and other national destinations.  For art entertainment events, she works exclusively with qualified DMC's and the trade only.

Opening Night Reception Inter-active Artist

Guests help the artist finish a painting in progress. This is a favorite must-have for corporate opening receptions held
at local hotels. As guests enter, get their drinks and wander, Marge invites them to help her paint a local landscape. Both executives and spouses try it. Participants become very enthused, and check on the progress throughout the evening. She brings a few of her recent paintings to display. Heads of companies as well as stars have painted with her including Bill Marriott, Britney Spears, and
so many more it would be too hard to name them all. The corporate photographer catches many a great shot of "aspiring artists","
who are suddenly "moved" to be a great artist.  And believe it or not, they surprise themselves to find they can really do a good
job.  A favorite scene we paint is the picture shown in the middle of the banner on the top of the page.

Marjorie Kinney has entertained in Orange County, CA, at the St. Regis, Ritz Carlton, Montage, Marriott, Four Seasons, Waterfront Hilton, Pelican Hill Resort, and Hyatt Huntington to name a few.  In San Diego County, Marjorie Kinney has painted with the guests
at the Coronado Hotel, La Costa, Aviara, Hilton, Torrey Pines Lodge, and on the bluffs at La Jolla Cove and more. 

Corporations choose a music group and this entertainment only for an enjoyable event. Sometimes they choose a guitarist or harpist and Ms. Kinney's art demo for an intimate affair or small group. Art Class -  "Paint a Landscape? Yes, You Can"

Marjorie Kinney teaches 1/2 day classes for spousal programs, executive teams, stress reduction programs. Join Marge for a casual, hands on, relaxing and enjoyable morning or afternoon session. Even guests who have never painted before will go home with a finished canvas of a beautiful local landscape using a full palette of acrylic colors. All of the paintings turn out beautifully, as she helps every step of the way. 

Aprons, paints, brushes, canvas, packing envelope and lots more are provided.

Paintings dry quickly and can be packed. Use at your hotel, museums, bluff tops, missions, terraces, in parks.

Some executives tie in an afternoon of painting with Marge after a morning session in which speakers cover stress reduction, getting more creative with sales, or other corporate tie-ins.  

Tours - Laguna Art Galleries, Coastal, or Mission area

Laguna Beach, located in South Orange County, California is a huge art community.  Marge Kinney, a well known regional artist will take you on a "Prime Tour" to the best public galleries, and some places where an artist is in residence. The advantage of touring with Marge is that, by coach, you will visit galleries in South Laguna, North Laguna and downtown. She has local knowledge of the art world because she has lived in the area and painted with local artists for twenty years. You can also arrange time to shop. Marge will point out the store with over 200 barrels of candy, a great shoe store, the best jeweler, bakery, ice cream, chocolate, and gift stores.

You can add private studios, "Prime Tour Plus Two", to visit artists in their behind-the-scenes work places not open to the public.  You can choose to lunch at a famous ocean side restaurant, Las Brisas, or on Forest Avenue, in the middle of the downtown galleries.
Forest Avenue has gift shops, candy, ice cream and bakery shops, several galleries, and clothing, shoe and home decor stores. 

Marge will give you a map and a beautiful souvenir greeting card of the area, plus show you how to get around if you return on your own. From small companies to the boards of the world's largest firms, guests have enjoyed this tour. A typed customized itinerary is provided immediately preceding the event. Speaker/Poster Signing

Speaker on, "Creativity - Thinking outside the Box", "How Creativity can Reduce Stress and Increase Longevity". Scientific study reveals use of right and left brain is essential to reduce stress, live longer, and happier. She signs a choice of four posters for each guest following her talk.  see Lithographs.

Marjorie Kinney,  The Business Executive

Marjorie Kinney was in the corporate world for many years and on two Fortune 50 Boards of Directors where she served on the Executive Compensation and Audit Committees.  She has an MBA (graduated Magna cum Laude) from Pepperdine University
and can speak about most any subject with executives and/or their spouses, with humor and anecdotes to share -- whatever
theme the event planner creates,  she is known for flexibility.  Her art is used by corporations, hotels, and individuals
internationally.  Pimpernel UK licensed her works for manufacture and sale in 21 countries.
